It’s hard to disagree with the idea that locally grown food is not only healthier for us to eat, but it’s also better for the environment. Unfortunately, finding or growing that local food can be difficult for many people and no where do we see that more than in neighborhoods facing poverty. No More Empty Pots is a grassroots, non-profit organization looking to make this effort a little easier for those in need. Through a number of initiatives including community gardens, education programs, and food-service incubators, the organization focuses on changing how we view food.

Of course, it’s much easier to teach someone about healthy living at an early age. This is one of the reasons that part of NMEP’s program focuses on children, engaging their naturally curious nature to help them learn about gardening, cooking and a healthy lifestyle. One of the videos we filmed to help the organization raise money on Omaha Gives! Day features Emily Liberto, a young lady who has benefited greatly from what NMEP offers.

One of NMEP’s main goals is to open a new building called The Food Hub, a shared-use commercial and production kitchen that would help train those in the industry as well as provide them a place to start a new food-based business. This project is still in Phase 1 development and was a major focus on their Omaha Gives! fundraising and advertising efforts. Filming a variety of advertising videos explaining the different parts of the organization’s programs was the way we thought No More Empty Pots could best engage potential donors. Here, volunteer Mary Sampson does a wonderful job of explaining just how much the organization contributes to the community.

Shooting content on location at No More Empty Pots’ current office and at one of their community gardens gave our team greater insight into the breadth of their organization and how important their work is.

Community member Paulette Genthon spoke about the community garden and how No More Empty Pots has helped bring the surrounding area together.

We look forward to seeing how this important organization grows and evolves as they reach their fundraising goals and make their sustainable dreams a reality.

Frost Media Group is an Omaha Video Production Company. In our content-saturated, short-attention-span world, breaking through and resonating with your audience is not easy.

However, when it comes to telling your story and sharing it with your audience, there is no tool like video. Through video, you can convey a compelling account of who you are, what you do, what you stand for, and why your audience should care. Through video, you can create an emotional connection to your business, brand, or nonprofit. And emotional connections inspire action.

We are Frost Media Group. We are a video production and video advertising company that produces and distributes video that breaks through. Video that resonates. Video with a purpose. Whatever your story, whatever your message, we will find a strategic, creative way to express it to the world.
