OneWorld Video Pledge Drive

Frost Media Group worked with OneWorld Community Health Centers to boost donations and volunteers through a video pledge drive. After years of spending thousands of dollars on direct mail campaigns, OneWorld was ready to try something different.

We sat down with two doctors, and OneWorld’s CEO Andrea Skolkin, and let them tell us what makes their organization unique, as well as the challenges they face. They talked about the people they serve, and the need for more money and help to continue their mission. We got to show off their staff helping patients, and give donors a behind-the-scenes view of OneWorld.

The campaign has attracted quite a bit of attention, and has helped OneWorld get their message out to more potential donors and volunteers.

National Vehicle with Tips to Sell Your Car

Frost Media Group worked with National Vehicle on a project to help people sell their cars online. National Vehicle  is one of the highest rated vehicle seller services on Ebay, and helps customers get the most out of their sale.

We sat down with two employees, who shared their advice on how to best market a vehicle. They covered everything from having plenty of high quality pictures to providing all the relevant details, and figuring out the right price.

The video project got some great tips out there, but more importantly, let potential customers put a face to representative’s name. And for customers who don’t want to go through these steps alone, the video links to professionals who will market a vehicle for a fee.

Frost Media Group Facilitates Crowd Editing for NAM Summit

Each of the last few years, Frost Media Group has had the honor and privilege to produce and edit a video of the Nonprofit Association of the Midland’s (NAM) Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands.

This year we’re doing something different, crowd editing – engaging NAM members on social media to assist in the editing of the video. It ties in well with the message one of the summit’s keynote speakers Grace-Anne Alfiero talked about – the importance of digital storytelling.

We hope that getting members involved in this process will encourage them to explore their own stories and find new ways to connect to the people they serve using video.

RAW VIDEO PLAYLIST

Starting this week, we’re releasing one raw, or unedited interview every day on the Nonprofit Association’s Facebook page, and we’ll take suggestions about what should be in the final video. We interviewed 14 people at the summit, so we’ll spend three weeks getting input. We’ll put the highlights into a first draft, and ask for more help cutting it down to a couple minutes. We know people have short attention spans (you lose half your video viewers after 1 minute online), so we only have room for the best statements.

When we get a final rough draft, we’ll release that to members too with a few options for music. Once that’s reviewed, commented on and the music decided, we’ll get more input on titles and graphics, before we get to our final product. Of course there is a lot that goes on in editing that we won’t be able to capture this way, but we will try our best.

We hope this new crowd editing approach gets NAM members excited, engaged and producing more of their own videos.

And, we should also mention that by design this is a great source of social media content for NAM over the next several weeks.

OneWorld Premieres Milagro Video at Annual Dinner

We recently had the opportunity to work with OneWorld Community Health Centers, who needed a video for their annual fundraising dinner. They wanted to showcase how staff and doctors go above and beyond to serve patients, and encourage donors to dig a little deeper into their pockets.

We started the process with a preproduction meeting with Pam Monsky at OneWorld. She had picked out two sets of doctors and patients who highlighted the mission of the organization. Everyone involved had busy schedules, but we really wanted some video of each doctor/patient combo. Pam lined up two shooting days, where we could interview a doctor, take some time to shoot them interacting for cover video, and then interview the doctor. It was great to see the doctors and patients together, and you could really see the appreciation and bond they had formed. After a couple of shoot days, we trimmed trimmed down the interviews to just the best gems, wove the two stories together into a video that highlighted staff who went the extra mile to help their patients.

The video played at OneWorld’s annual Milagro fundraising dinner, just before organizers asked for donations. The video made a great impression, and OneWorld raised about $10,000 more than they did last year. – Frost Media Group

Kid’s Entrepreneur Day

Frost Media Group was happy to help with the development of the Kid’s Entrepreneur Day website and 1st annual event Monday, February 18.
