Thanks to AdvoKatie in 2016 nonprofits like No More Empty Pots got a boost during Omaha Gives! Day.


No More Empty Pots
connects individuals and groups to improve self-sufficiency, regional food security and economic resilience of urban and rural communities through advocacy and action.

Last year we had the opportunity to help them bridge the gap on Phase 1, a shared-use commercial and production kitchen space in their Food Hub.

The Food Hub will include commercial kitchens, a community café, and cold/dry storage. The hub will support job training, workforce readiness, food waste reduction and the list goes on.

With the help of our friend AdvoKatie, nonprofits like No More Empty Pots had videos, landing pages, email blasts and social posts to create awareness throughout Omaha Gives! Day.

This push encouraged donors to not only make a donation themselves, but to share the nonprofit’s mission and stories with their friends, families and colleagues, so that they could donate as well.

Donors were able to scroll through tabs with videos that highlighted the people who are impacted by No More Empty Pots, from young to old.

Not to mention the community garden that brings their neighborhood together and encourages new volunteers each year. See the videos here.
